Don't make this simple AI mistake

AI is amazing. Whether you use one of the Canva templates or ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude to create it for you, it now only takes a few minutes to create an image for social media posts or a poster for a notice board.
We're all busy so it makes sense to grab the first thing that's generated and use it. After everyone else is doing the same.
That's the problem. There's a 'style', a 'feel' to many social media post images and posters, so they're become really familiar. This means they lose their impact.
But there's another issue.
You run an independent business. Perhaps you also volunteer for a local organisation.
You offer a personal service, a friendly welcome. People are drawn to your business or voluntary organisation because it's created buy real people for real people. They like that it's not a faceless corporation.
When you use AI to create something that looks like the promotions that everyone else is using, then it detracts from your key selling point of being a friendly, individual, independent business.
I'm not saying you shouldn't use AI. But use it carefully, prompt it to go a little further and try to create something that stands out.
