Something to share - quick tip

Here's a very quick marketing tip. It might seem obvious but many don't do it enough.
Share. And show your relevance.
That's it.
When you spot a social media post about your local area, or something relevant to your business, share it.
Sharing other posts does several things:
- it gives you a post without much effort!
- it builds local relationships and collaborations and create a sense of reciprocity - if you share something, then eventually/hopefully maybe they'll share your posts or help in another way
- it shows potential visitors that there's plenty going on and that you're in an area where there's a sense of community - which they love
When you do share a post, don't just share it - add a comment about why you think it's good, or add a little info, or say why it's relevant to your business. For example, if someone wrote about a great a place to visit and you have an accommodation business then you could share the post, with a note saying how far it is from you.
Yes, it's really simple but from what I've seen a surprising number of people don't do this so if you do, you'll get ahead!
