The future is analogue

analogue

When one of the 'kings' of the internet and social media (around 50 millions followers!), Gary Vaynerchuk suggests the future is analogue, it pays to listen.

He's not saying that the internet, social media and AI will go away, but is predicting a massive resurgence of interest in real-world experiences. True authentic human connection and physical experiences are at a premium, and likely to grow in importance.

The craving for humanity and genuine connection means that there's strong demand for digital de-tox breaks, cafes and places where phones are banned, evenings spent playing board games, mindful activities, and simple ways to explore.

In-person gatherings are still important. We might not want to live in the same way as we did pre-Covid but there's certainly a move back to hobby-based gatherings, whether crafting or running together.

What analogue experiences can you offer or promote?

be the most human

This is no surprise - my visitors want experiences away from crowds - they want to walk with or without their dogs , peace and quiet , a great view, log fires/ nice places to eat. Cottages with board games. They want to see lambs in fields , be able to sit and paint, knit etc.
