This event is held in collaboration with the World of James Herriot and Herriot Country Tourism Group

We'll cover:  

  •  Why are visitors so interested in James Herriot - what do we need to do to encourage them to visit and stay longer?
  • How screen tourism can benefit your business, and attract international visitors. 
  • Some straight-forward marketing tips and techniques to help you appeal to visitors 
  • An overview of the opportunities presented by the screening of All Creatures Great and Small in the UK and USA, and strong interest from USA, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland and Australia
  • How you can be ready to welcome international visitors

This session is run by Susan Briggs who has over 30 years' tourism marketing experience. John Gallery from the Herriot Country Tourism Group will also present their work and some recent successes and opportunities. 

These events are designed for businesses such as accommodation, visitor attractions, activity providers, and creative, retail, food and drink businesses.
