No matter where your business is located, and whatever kind of tourism or hospitality business it is, you need to be aware of the latest trends to be ready to use them in your own marketing.

We'll cover:

  • What are piggyback marketing and newsjacking? How can you use their power to benefit your business?
  • How screen tourism (TV and film locations) can benefit your business, and attract international visitors - you might be surprised at the range of opportunities
  • What current and future trends are most relevant to your business: how can you use them? Some relate to emerging markets and different kinds of visitors, others to changing expectations and marketing opportunities
  • A practical perspective from John Gallery about the benefits offered through the screening of All Creatures Great and Small in the UK and USA, and strong interest from USA, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland and Australia

This session is run by Susan Briggs who has 35+ years' tourism marketing experience, and John Gallery from the Herriot Country Tourism Group.

These events are designed for businesses such as accommodation, visitor attractions, activity providers, and creative, retail, food and drink businesses. They are not suitable for industry suppliers such as consultants, designers etc.
